Olive green cloth variant with black and silver illustration on front. Very early if not 1st British edition. No year given, This copy looks like other's listed. Different points are: vii Roman numeral paginated, 1 p. unpaginated, 312 versus 300 pp. Inscription on Half Title: Ethel Ford from W. F., Jan. 1, 1895, Stratfor Road, Kensingten W 8
End papers are split in gutter, cloth of cover split at one side of the spine, binding however firm. Top and foot of spine worn, otherwise nicely preserved, clean copy.
